Detailed JD:

Responsibilities–

• Design and architect enterprise search solutions that meet business needs, utilizing Lucene based search technologies such as Elasticsearch and Apache Solr.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their search requirements and translate them into technical requirements for enterprise search solutions.
• Develop user journey maps that capture various touchpoints and interaction user have with search solution.
• Strong experience in Design and architect end to end Enterprise search solution
• Experienced in creating ingestion pipelines from multiple data sources like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Gitlab, ftp servers, websites crawling etc.
• Design solution for Near real time search, Batch data ingestion and data crawling
• Define and implement ETL layer to enrich data.
• Define and implement search relevancy strategies to optimize search results for business needs.
• Develop and implement search user interfaces, including search forms, facets, and filters.
• Participate in search solution testing and tuning, including performance optimization and load testing.

Requirements:-

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise search solutions.
• Total relevant experience approx. 10 years.
• Strong experience with JAVA, Python, microservices
• Strong experience with search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, and/or Microsoft Search.
• Solid understanding of search relevancy, indexing, and search algorithms
• Understanding of keyword search, fuzzy search and vector search.
• Strong experience with search UI design and development.
• Experience with integrating search solutions with search client applications
• Experience with integrating search solutions with data sources, CMS systems etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred :-

• Experience with search solutions/products like Lucidworks, Coveo etc.
• Experience with tools like Apache Tikka ,Kafka and ETL tools like Informatica.
• Experience in e-commerce search websites solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based search solutions, such as Amazon OpenSearch or Azure Cognitive Search.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) technologies for search.
• Experience with search analytics and reporting tools
• Experience with A/B Testing of enterprise search solution
