Software Engineering Manager (Energy)

Up to €130,000 Depending on experience + Bonus

Berlin (Hybrid)

Vallum Associates is currently recruiting for one of their clients, a leading Energy as a Service business who are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join and lead their technology team.

You will:

• Lead engineering and product strategy, shaping vision and roadmaps in close collaboration with product owners and clients.
• Regularly engage with architecture, code, deployments, and operations to exemplify technical excellence within the team.
• Oversee feature backlogs alongside product owners and key stakeholders.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards, fostering a culture centered on engineering prowess.
• Drive adoption of best practices in product management, software development, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Ensure alignment of technical resources with product release and material plans, guiding programs to timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Direct staffing, development, and performance management initiatives for engineering teams, nurturing and empowering project and team leaders.
• Provide leadership, development, training, mentoring, coaching, and guidance to engineering staff.
• Promote team growth through recruitment, interviewing, assessment, and selection of new talent.
