    Talent Acquisition Senior Director Central Europe

    We are seeking CE CT Recruiting Senior Director with responsibility for managing and coordinating all recruiting activities, processes, and resources for the Non-MDP Consulting Team (CT) cohorts in Central Europe (CE). You'll lead in developing and implementing strategic talent acquisition as well as evaluating the entire recruiting function, strategies, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the constant advancement of the department. As the CE CT Recruiting Senior Director, you'll be responsible for all team- and budget-related topics in the department including the following responsibilities:

    • Actively enhance performance of the firm by acting as a thought partner to the People Chair, the CE CT People Executive Director, the CE Recruiting MDPs, and the CE Leadership Team in aligning recruiting with key strategic thrusts
    • Define key strategic directions and targets for CE in close alignment with the CE People Team Leadership, the Recruiting MDPs, all Recruiting Managers and teams-ensuring implementation as well as achievement of targets
    • Lead strategic recruiting initiatives and driving the innovation agenda:
    • Observe competition and market developments
    • Identify needs for action in recruiting work and developing proposed improvements, both operational and strategic
    • Act as project leader for specific recruiting projects (initiation, definition of milestones, guiding and coaching of project members, issuing solutions, implementing outcome)
    • Lead and manage the overall recruiting operations in CE, from employer branding and marketing to pipeline management for undergraduate and experienced hire (EH) intake
    • Be responsible for planning and controlling the efficiency of all recruiting measures in order to ensure achievement of (quantitative and qualitative) targets and KPIs
    • Be responsible for planning, budgeting, and controlling of all recruiting activities (budgets, capacity) in CE, working closely with Recruiting Managers and Finance
    • Lead the overall integration and collaboration of CE Recruiting model, on both a functional and organizational level. Steering transformation to define joint processes, common understanding, and operation across CE where applicable
    • Act as a key contact for all questions about recruiting and managing coordination with
    • Regional and Global Recruiting
    • Other HR functions within CE
    • Marketing/PR
    • Act as line manager for the recruiting MSD (Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors) in G&A, SUI, and CEE, as well as to the CE Recruiting Managers for EH and Employer Branding, including recruiting, training and coaching, leadership, and support areas

    YOU'RE GOOD AT

    • Empathy and inspiration in your leadership with experience in people/HR areas, especially in the recruiting (sub)function.     YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

    • University or college degree in labor law or economics/business administration, or a related field, as well as extensive experience across people/HR topics including recruiting.
    • 10+ years of relevant work experience, holding senior leadership roles with a focus on people/HR ideally in an international professional services environment, including 6 to 7 years of management experience.
    • Strong performance in a consulting staff role ( senior ) PL (Project Leader) or Pr (Principal), or in a Director position.
    • Fluency in German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Advanced communication skills: oral, written, and active listening (including senior leadership presentations/meetings).
    • Experience working with various functions and with people at all organizational levels by setting up positive, productive, and lasting working relationships.

    YOU'LL WORK WITH

    The CE Consulting Team People Executive Director / CE Consulting Recruiting MDPs and CE Leadership Team, CE People/HR Teams' Senior BST and respective teams, CE MDPs, EMESA Recruiting and People/HR Senior BST, the Global Recruiting team including senior HR leaders across BCG's regions and business units, global DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) teams, and others.

    You will report to the CE Consulting Team People Executive Director and lead a team of ~7 MSD (Manager, Sr. Manager, Director cohort group). You will be a sparring partner to CE leadership overseeing recruiting, thinking through innovating procedures with new ways of working.

    You will be a member of the CE CT People team working closely with the CE leadership, being the connector between the Recruiting teams to find a balance between global, regional, and local development, execution, and alignment in recruiting topics.
