For our PD Concepts / Sensory team, we are looking for a new Global Sensory and Consumer Insights Specialist (m/f/d)! (Parental leave replacement, limited to 16-22 months).

What are your major duties?

  • Key contact for all Manufacturing, Divisional and local Marketing activities related to Sensory
  • Analysis of Sensory product performance, product discrimination, product differentiation and single attributes to identify triggers for product performance
  • Development of sensorial test designs for qualitative and quantitative product and consumer research
  • Strategic product positioning evaluation, analysis and positional proposal
  • Interface and consultancy between consumer perception and client needs (Marketing, Manufacturing, Innovation) from a sensorial market perspective
  • Methodology transfer to and training of agencies to conduct standardised Sensory research
  • Proactively generate cost saving initiatives based on descriptive projects in close exchange with stakeholders
  • Up to date with market and product data (market shares & development trends, Product Development and Marketing activities)
  • Development and analysis of global maintenance, screenings and benchmarking projects
  • Statistical analyses and evaluation of descriptive panel data, report creation and presentation
  • Operational support of qualitative and quantitative consumer research
  • Consultancy to stakeholders, choice of the right method
  • Organisation of internal induction sessions to Sensory
  • Who are you?

  • You hold a university degree in Sensory, Food Science, Social Science or equivalent
  • You have several years’ experience in sensory product and market research and interaction between product & consumer
  • You have fluent German and English writing and speaking skills
  • You have profound knowledge of statistical analysis and methods of market research
  • Excellent PC knowledge (Microsoft Office)
  • Operating skills with large databases (SAS, SPSS)
  • Profound analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Presentation skills (to cross-functional audience)
  • Interest to work with tobacco or nicotine delivery products
  • Open and communicative personality, willing to work with a group of people
