We are looking for you to lead our Urban Research and Advisory team, which is currently being established and operates at the interface between strategic conceptualisation, planning, management and consultancy in the urban context for public and private clients, at the earliest possible date for our location in Berlin .
Team leader Sustainable Cities & Urban Advisory (f/m/d)
Your tasks: Acquisition, design and further strategic expansion of the Urban Research and Advisory Team in the context of sustainable urban development with a focus on the environment, mobility, digitalisation and social aspects. Expansion of the client base through independent acquisition of new clients and expansion of the market presence as well as maintenance of existing clients Project management of consulting projects at regional, city and neighbourhood level, including the development of city visions, mission statements and concepts as well as master plans
Your profile: Studies in the field of urban planning, sociology, architecture or related fields At least 15 years of professional experience as a consultant, project manager or planner in the field of urban development and planning in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility Experience in team leadership with line responsibility Good understanding of current developments in the field of sustainable urban development along ecological, social, economic, technological and political factors Ability and interest to think across issues and disciplines and openness to new approaches and solutions. Very good stakeholder management skills and a confident, self-assured appearance Fluent in German and English
