Is this you?Become one of our 20 International Trainees at Vattenfall. Each of the trainee positions is unique, linked to a department within a specific business area and a working location. This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities, challenges and matching profile.Next to your personal development in this unique position you will be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. Your trainee year will be filled with meet-ups with your international trainee team with likeminded individuals. You will be meeting up virtually to work on assignments and live during four seminar weeks where you will be visiting our power plants and growing your superpowers with a variety of trainings. Your role as an Environmental Advisor Trainee Are you ambitious? Do you want to play a role on the green transition of energy? And do you like collaborating with a lot of people? Then we have the job for you!Corporate Environment is strategically as well as practically working with all environmental aspects in close corporation with the entire organization. Our role is to support and secure proactive and coherent environmental performance throughout the company. Innovation and digitalisation is key to deliver on our responsibility. As Environmental Advisor, you will be a vital part in contributing to Vattenfall’s Environmental ambitions and projects through environmental assessments as well as we expect you to contribute to identifying new innovative and digital ways of working with environmental topics.Your daily activities:You will have a chance to contribute to many different types of tasks. Some key responsibilities will be to:

Make impact assessments of environmental developments in EU regulation and develop Vattenfall’s opinion related to our different activities

Work in close corporation and alignment with our Public and Regulatory function, as well as all business areas

Contribute in implementing our environmental targets and environmental improvement initiatives with high business value

Strengthen our environmental communication activities and increase awareness through storytelling

Who are you? The candidate we are looking for has a great interest and knowledge in the field of environment as well as a business acumen. You are outgoing and energized by collaboration and communication. It is an advantage in this position if you are innovative and creative, but also structured and analytical.As an Environmental Advisor Trainee you recognize yourself in the following:

Relevant university education within the field of environment, natural science or political science. Knowledge of EU decision making process is an advantage.

Preferable experience with environmental work from a company or a consultancy

Independent and agile in your work style

Strong presentation and communication skills

Fast learner, autonomous, confident and positive

You are our ideal trainee if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree or you graduate before September 2021. You are fluent in English. Skills in other world languages can be a merit. You are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. And of course, you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.
