    To strengthen our primary structures team, we are seeking a working student. For our offshore wind projects and products, our team is responsible for designing project specific wind turbine towers and foundations, focusing on the primary (load carrying) structure. The team handles not only the structural design, but also drawings, production specifications, assesses any production deviations and is driving development of new technologies and products in these areas. The team has a presence in Den Haag (NL), Hamburg (DE) and Bangalore (IN). The current position is open for the office in Hamburg, Berliner Tor and we would prefer to also see you there during your work.

  • Be part of a multinational and multicultural team working for a greener environment
  • Be supporting our engineering team within structural design tasks in conceptual and detailed design phases of offshore wind parks
  • If you are proficient in coding you can support us by creating and optimizing standalone tools in our tool landscape, helping us automate our processes and increasing our output
  • If you have experience with structural analysis in FEA you can support us in gaining more insight through detailed numerical design studies and contribute to structural optimization

  • What You Need To Make a Difference

    A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for...

  • You are preferably a Bachelor- or Master student in a technical field, e.g. Civil or Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a similar field of study and enrolled at a German university
  • You have a good interest in solving challenging engineering tasks
  • Knowledge in MS Office, Matlab or Python as well as in structural engineering fields is considered an advantage
  • Potentially experience with FEA programs (e.g. Ansys Workbench)
  • You have already gained exceptional marks and analytical skills
  • You are highly motivated, self-driven with an eye for detail and work analytically
  • Your English and German skills are advantageous
  • You are a Team player with excellent communication skills and innovative mindset, but also the ability to work independently
  • Depending on your scope, we would require your support for around 12-20 hrs per week
