  • You will be part of an innovative research and development team and will support us in the development and testing of tracking technologies for neurosurgical navigation systems.
  • In general, you will be involved in the development of state-of-the-art optical tracker technologies for surgical use.
  • You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to day-to-day challenges of an international medical technology company with your practical solutions and add your own ideas to new concepts and innovations for our navigation portfolio.

    • What makes you stand out

  • You are enrolled in an engineering (mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medical technology, computer science or similar) or natural science degree program.
  • You have a strong technical interest and a passion for innovative products.
  • You convince with a responsible and analytical way of working as well as a distinct ability to understand complex systems (hardware and software) as a whole.
  • Best case You already have previous knowledge in the field of medical technology and optical localization techniques.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming is preferred, and familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
  • A high level of initiative, openness, team skills, and communication (as well as good written and spoken English) round off your profile.

  • Sie werden Teil eines innovativen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsteams und unterstützen uns bei der Entwicklung und Prüfung von Tracking-Technologien für neurochirurgische Navigationssysteme.
  • Im Allgemeinen werden Sie in die Entwicklung modernster optischer Tracker-Technologien für den chirurgischen Einsatz eingebunden sein.
  • Sie haben die Möglichkeit, mit Ihren praktischen Lösungen aktiv zu den täglichen Herausforderungen eines internationalen Medizintechnikunternehmens beizutragen und Ihre eigenen Ideen zu neuen Konzepten und Innovationen für unser Navigationsportfolio einzubringen.

  • Sie sind in einem Ingenieurstudium (Mechatronik, Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Medizintechnik, Informatik oder Ähnliches) oder einem naturwissenschaftlichen Studiengang eingeschrieben.
  • Sie haben ein starkes technisches Interesse und eine Leidenschaft für innovative Produkte.
  • Sie überzeugen durch eine verantwortungsbewusste und analytische Arbeitsweise sowie eine ausgeprägte Fähigkeit, komplexe Systeme (Hardware und Software) als Ganzes zu verstehen.
  • Im Idealfall haben Sie bereits Vorkenntnisse im Bereich der Medizintechnik und optischen Lokalisierungstechniken.
  • Kenntnisse in MATLAB oder Python sind von Vorteil, ebenso wie Vertrautheit mit CAD-Software.
  • Ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative, Offenheit, Teamfähigkeit und Kommunikationsfähigkeit (sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift) runden Ihr Profil ab.
