    The Opportunity

    This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

    Your Tasks:

    • Support business planning cycles' consolidation for EMEAP, LATAM and APAC, including working on new product and market launches, long term strategic planning/OEM cycles and commercial priorities
    • Build, develop and maintain reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions across different regions
    • Provide appropriate strategic recommendations that improves effectiveness of our core business planning processes and create synergies in between regions
    • Establish strong communication within Area, Global and Affiliates to drive best practices on core business planning processes
    • Understand major strategies for the Area and Affiliates. Serve as a link between International Markets, Global and Affiliates
    • Collaborate with finance, commercial and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with the financial forecasting processes
    • Proactively identify, develop and lead rollout of new tools, systems and processes to simplify and improve commercial effectiveness and analytics
    • Provide analysis of market performance for International Markets to assess and improve current performance and continuously develop sound commercial forecasts
    • Provide analysis and tools to support Strat Plan and OEM preparations

    Your Qualification:

    • Graduate university level education – preferably in business/scientific-related disciplines, Master's degree is a plus
    • Previous Integrated Business Planning/project management or consulting experience is a plus
    • Min 5 years of previous experience, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
    • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data from a wide range of internal and external sources and translate these into powerful insights
    • Strong ability to build relationships and work in a team to establish trust and exercise influence with internal clients and other key stakeholders
    • Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives
    • Very good Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) skills
    • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of a second language is desirable
