    MSP-CX is looking for a Controls Integration Manager to bepart of our global team to deliver the next generation ofworld-class fulfillment systems through the use of advancedtechnology.

    Successful candidates are natural leaders who havemanaged teams and prior engineering experience and in theintegrated automation project life cycle, including development,design, implementation, enhancement, andsupport.


    The Controls Integration Manager willlead a group of engineers who focus on the full product life cycleand are responsible for successful delivery of units fordevelopment and operations.

    You will serve as a liaison betweenFulfillment Center Operations (our customer), product design anddevelopment engineers.


    This role will requirethe ability to build relationships across a cross functional teamcapturing and synthesizing the voice of the customer.

    Their primarygoal is to lead a team who owns the field activities integrating,deploying, and troubleshooting solutions for new mechatronicssystems and packaging technology; act as a liaison for internal andexternal resources and be on call as needed to support downtimeevents.

    This position will also provide proper training and supportto facility controls technicians on system troubleshooting andpreventive maintenance to focus on the system performanceimprovement and optimization.

    In parallel with the Deployment Teamsyou will support performance ramp of the technology deployment atscale.


    You are able to take the lead on theimplementation and delivery of complex system designs and MSPtechnology in ambiguous and complex problem spaces.

    You integratesystems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency. Youparticipate in the full system development life cycle, workingwithin broadly defined parameters, including test plan executionand solution quality needs.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Leada team of engineers in the continuous improvement, test anddeployment of our tech roadmap.
    • Excellent projectmanagement skills.
    • Define control specificationdocuments for deployment of technology products.
    *Integrate control system products and partner with suppliers andcustomers.

    • Commissioning: working with all thestakeholders to optimize the workcell to predefined successcriteria to ensure smooth handover of technologyproducts.
    • Set strategy for controls/softwarecommissioning tasks for technology products.
    • Setstrategy for commissioning tools and customer-facing components tofacilitate scalable business growth.
    • Lead initiativesto enhance engineering, testing, and operational best practiceswithin the team.
    • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to develop control specifications and trainingmaterials.
    • Lead incident follow-up, root causeanalysis, and documentation.
    • Engage in industrialengineering design for both existing and new material handlingsystems across our global network.
    • Ensure strictadherence to all Health & Safety (H&S) protocols andactively contribute to the identification and mitigation ofpotential H&S risks.
    • Foster effective relationshipsby partnering with various stakeholders.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - Bachelordegree in CS or related area.

    • Experience as Managermanaging teams of Engineers to improve their skills, and make themmore effective.
    • Willingness to travel up to 75% asrequired.
    • Experience in communicating with users, othertechnical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements,describe product features, technical designs, and productstrategy.
    • Experience in designing, developing,implementing, and supporting PLCbased control systems.
    • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching.
    • Demonstrated expertise in designing or architecture systems,emphasizing design patterns, reliability, and scalability of bothnew and existing systems.
    • Knowledge in at least onemodern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in both hardware and software aspects ofIndustrial Control Systems.
    • Possess strong analyticalcapabilities for effective problemsolving.
    • Acollaborative team player, eager to lead projects and drivesuccessful outcomes.
    • Understanding of control systemsand software development lifecycle, including coding standards,code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing,and operations experience.
    • Selfmotivated andcustomerfocused, consistently striving to meet and exceed clientexpectations.

    PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

    - Master degree in CS or relatedarea.

    • Experience with integrated developmentenvironments: Codesys.
    • Experience with Linux basedsystems.
    • AWS Certification.
    • Experienced inmanaging materialhandlingequipment (MHE), including understandingflow dynamics and capacity considerations.
    • Experienceworking in an Agile environment using the Scrummethodology.
