    Senior Construction Manager Location:
    Germany, Hybrid working

    My client is a major international solar & wind developer operating in more than fifteen countries.

    Due to this exciting period of growth, they're focusing on developing their team in Germany further and are searching for a Senior Construction Manager to join their dynamic team.

    The Construction Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding their presence in Germany, contributing directly to the company's footprint growth.

    Their involvement entails active participation in overseeing construction and project management activities for large-scale renewable energy projects, primarily focused on solar PV and onshore wind.

    Demonstrates a good understanding of project design drawings and actively participates in discussions with designers (Pre-Executive design) and BOP Contractors.

    Defines, prepares, and controls documentation to facilitate the timely start of construction for the renewable energy project.

    Develops and schedules project steps to achieve the most efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction of photovoltaic or wind farms.

    Supervises and controls the design and construction requirements outlined in the applicable Building Permit.
    Reports project status, recommends solutions, and provides information about potential risks to the Board.
    Manages and supervises payment approval and document preparation processes in accordance with the project plan's requirements.

    Facilitates internal information flow within the Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality departments.
    Manages and controls technical, Time Schedule, Health & Safety, and Quality issues during the construction process.

    Good understanding of project design software – AUTOCAD etc.
    Solar experience.
    Good management experience.
    Fluent in English
    Fluent in German/or Danish.
    Strong construction background.

    You will play a key role in developing the construction team in Germany, which gives you many chances to progress into senior roles within the business.
