    The opportunity

    As a Product Designer within the Logistics pillar, you'll be part of our global UX Logistics team who solve problems, striving to create the best experiences for our network couriers.

    You'll work with an empowered cross functional team that prioritises using research and data to help understand the problem space, before moving through the design process to deliver engaging, yet simple and intuitive user experiences.

    You'll be part of a passionate UX team of 100+ UX designers, UI designers, product designers, service designers, researchers and writers across 7 countries.

    Key Responsibilities

    Innovative solutions - The Product Designer focuses on key user problems and comes up with innovative solutions. You own every aspect of the product's design, from solving the core user problem to shipping a well-tested and pixel perfect UI.

    Create prototypes - The Product Designer works across the product lifecycle from concept to delivery and will create documentation, wireframes, prototypes and pixel perfect UI. The Product Designer creates hi- and lo-fi prototypes that can be validated with users, and is able to communicate the details of these interactions to developers.

    Research - The Product Designer conducts research and usability studies in conjunction with UX researchers.

    Data-Driven - The Product Designer uses qualitative and quantitative data to influence their work. In conjunction with the Product manager you will measure and monitor performance of the products you work on

    Communicate - The Product Designer transparently communicates on their progress and discusses ideas with their cross-functional team. You can present well both within the Design team and to stakeholders.

    Teamwork - The Product Designer takes a collaborative approach and fosters strong working relationships with their team, and with people in the wider JET team.

    Your Profile & Experience

    - Minimum of 2+ years experience in a Product or UX design role.

    - Experience in designing and shipping consumer products or products for businesses.

    - Excellent design and High fidelity prototyping skills (layout, typography, colour)

    - Experience working with or contributing to a design system.

    - Experience of user-centred design principles & working in agile development teams.

    - Experience with workshop facilitation and design sprints.

    - Experience having worked as an end to end designer, with varied processes and frameworks to deliver successful UX&D work as an individual contributor and part of a larger team.

    - Will have business acumen and be able to contribute to their direct project domains.

    - Experience designing user interface for both one app platform (iOS or Android) and responsive web preferred. An understanding of web and app development, ensuring that all your work is feasible and makes use of the latest best-practices in UX design and development.

    - Extensive experience collaborating with stakeholders from Product and Technology departments. Significant experience working with other Designers and UX Researchers.

    - Comfortable presenting to larger audiences and senior stakeholders.

    - Experience of influencing the user/customer to non-design audiences, such as Product or Technology Managers. Experience presenting or facilitating design talks/workshops internally.
