The objective of Dealer Network Development is to develop and professionalize the sales network organization. The overarching goal is to ensure the achievement of sales, turnover and profit targets in the European region, to guarantee the best possible customer experience and to offer dealers attractive conditions for Mercedes-Benz franchising.
The main tasks of dealer network development include working cooperatively with the markets and retail and identifying the need for action to professionalize the sales levels and the retail strategy / transformation. Of great importance here is the active coordination and implementation of necessary steps towards the market, within the European region with the various stakeholders from Sales, Aftersales and Controlling, as well as with the specialist departments at head office.
The main tasks in the Dealer Network Development team specifically include actively helping to shape a competitive dealer portfolio in the markets of the European region, monitoring and further developing dealer standards and processes as well as developing and implementing attractive dealer formats. Other tasks include the provision of suitable business management indicators / methods (e.g. Dealer Margin Model) to support a financially healthy and efficient dealer network, as well as the promotion of a functioning exchange of best practice between the markets.
