- Planning and execution of all software quality assurance tasks over the entire project / product life cycle
- Ensuring process compliance, taking into account contractual requirements and project-relevant quality assurance tasks
- Contact person for all software QA topics (internal and external) as part of the project core team
- Creation of project-related QA documents, for example SW QA plan
- Participation in the verification process of software products
- Confirmation of product conformity with regard to contractual requirements and legal regulations
- Monitoring the application of quality assurance measures and methods
- Reporting of quality-relevant topics, incidents and key figures to internal and external stakeholders
- Degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or similar
- Several years of experience in software development
- Knowledge of agile development methods and their application
- Knowledge of software testing methods (unit test, black box test)
- Knowledge of requirements engineering
- Knowledge of software development standards advantageous (ISO 12207, RTCA / DO-278)
- Knowledge of risk management methods and their application advantageous
- Affinity for quality and efficient processes
- Ability and willingness to proactively familiarize yourself with unfamiliar topics and relevant standards
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to reach consensus
- Fluent German and very good English skills

Summary
We are looking for a "Software Quality Engineer for Avionic Projects (f/m/d)" for the "Engineering Product and Project Quality" department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.The "Engineering Product and Project Quality" department is responsible for the Electronic Warefare, Avionics and Radar programs, as well as the associated development, sales and logistics departments. We ensure that the processes are applied effectively and with low risk in the project and on the product, taking into account the contractual requirements, and that the relevant quality tasks are completed efficiently. The quality engineers work closely with the neighboring departments, project managers and product managers and are appointed at the start of the planning phase.
