Position: Commissioning Service Manager

I am seeking a highly qualified Commissioning Service Manager to join my clients team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with an additional 1 year specifically working on offshore wind farms. Responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating commissioning services personnel, this role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of commissioning works across various project packages.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading commissioning services for Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Field Operations Units (FOU), Interface Agreements and Certifications (IAC), and System Functional Testing & Operational Control.

Supervising contractor commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and schedules, while facilitating interfaces with other contractors.

Providing technical expertise in commissioning and testing works across project packages.

Reviewing project and contractor commissioning programs to ensure cohesive delivery of commissioning works.

Coordinating Control, Protection, and Metering System Interoperability Tests.

Ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations regarding electrical activities.

Managing SCADA, Communications, and IT System commissioning for the entire project.

Overseeing integration of contractor SCADA systems with company systems.

Coordinating offshore activities related to safety, testing, commissioning, and energization operations.

Planning and chairing site commissioning coordination meetings.

Participating in commissioning panel meetings.

Compiling final commissioning documentation and accepting testing documentation.

Supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department in safety management.

Providing weekly reports to the Commissioning Management Team and Package Managers as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 1 year working specifically on offshore wind farms.

Proven track record in commissioning and testing within the energy sector.

Strong understanding of electrical systems and regulations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage resources effectively.

Familiarity with wind farm design and commissioning processes is preferred.
