- Screen and interview children, adolescents, and family members and utilizes psychometric instruments in the assessment of psychological disorders typically affecting children and adolescents.
- Assess and provide crisis intervention for children, adolescents, and family members undergoing unusual psychologically related stresses.
- Provide individual, couple, family, and/or group psychological counseling utilizing a variety of treatment modalities for child, adolescent, and/or family psychological diagnoses.
- Evaluate overall effectiveness of therapeutic efforts.
- Develop objective treatment processes, procedures, goals and plans for patients.
- Maintains patient care documentation in accordance with Hospital and DoD/Federal Regulations and professional ethics.
- Educates and trains primary care physicians and other professionals in the screening, prevention, early identification, and treatment of behavioral health disorders within the primary care setting.
