These solutions are currently utilized by over 3000 companies, including major players in the automotive, food, water, life science, and mining industries. octoplant serves as a comprehensive and vendor-independent data management platform, offering a holistic view of all automation processes involving OT and IT. It provides users with protection against production downtime, data loss, and significantly enhances cyber security. AUVESY-MDT operates globally, with sales offices in Germany, the US, and China, and a partner network consisting of over 100 partners worldwide.

As a Technical Writer, you'll collaborate with various teams to gather product information and craft clear user interface text and online help. You'll maintain consistent style guides and terminology, ensure content is localized and globalized, and utilize tools like Markdown, GitLab, Weblate, Confluence, and Jira. Additionally, you'll continuously review and enhance content based on user feedback and product evolution.

Your Tasks

• Work with developers, product owners and product managers to gather information about the product
• Create easy-to-understand user interface text and online help
• Follow and contribute to develop style guides as needed
• Adhere to consistent terminology by the use of company-specific glossary
• Consider localization and globalization when creating content
• Use the tools such as Markdown, GitLab, Weblate, Confluence and Jira to support their work
• Review and improve existing content based on user feedback and evolving product features

Your Profile

• Excellent written skills in English and German
• Technical affinity and interest in software testing
• Experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Provide high quality documentation
• Ability to adapt their language to suit the target audience
• Ability to work as part of an international team

Nice to have

• Master's in Translation or relevant field
• Previous experience working in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment, demonstrating the ability to thrive in dynamic settings, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and contribute to the agile development of the sales function
