Riwald Electronics Recycling GmbH is one of the leading companies for scrap and electronic waste recycling in Germany. With our innovative recycling systems, we recover valuable raw materials for reuse in industry. At our 3 locations in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Bavaria, we work as a team with a total of around 170 colleagues.

For our plant in 75031 Eppingen, we are looking for you as a full-time occupational safety specialist (m/f/d) with immediate effect.

These activities await you:

• You will create training documents and carry out training in all areas of work
• You will train and educate supervisors in all aspects of occupational safety and support them in maintaining application-oriented training knowledge
• You create risk assessments, operating instructions and operating manuals
• You take on statutory accident reports and the reporting of associated statistics
• You support the maintenance and control of our existing occupational safety facilities and associated processes and workflows
• You accompany our technical development projects together with our engineering team
• You will carry out regular inspections together with the managers in our plants, identify weak points and help to develop solutions
• You will support the implementation of these solutions on site together with our technical teams, system manufacturers and suppliers
• You coordinate and manage the regular occupational health and safety inspections with our medical services
• You support our plant managers in the area of occupational safety
• You will prepare the documentation and reports required by the Group in the context of occupational safety

What you bring with you:

• You are a strong communicator and ideally have experience in dealing with industrial personnel
• Ideally, you have completed master craftsman training in a technical profession or have a degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering, process engineering...) or industrial engineering
• You have completed further training as an occupational safety specialist
• You are interested in the field of metal recycling and plant engineering
• You have a class B driver's license & occasional travel to our other 2 locations in Rhineland-Palatinate and Bavaria is no obstacle for you
• Knowledge of English is an advantage
