Responsibilities

Further development and implementation of the Friedhelm Loh Group's global sustainability strategy

Derivation and implementation of sustainability targets and KPIs (e.g. climate targets)

Preparation of CO2 balances, PCF calculations

Collection of sustainability-related key figures in coordination with the specialist departments

Establishment and further development of methods, processes and guidelines for sustainability management

Management of overarching sustainability issues in the Friedhelm Loh Group

Supporting operational teams in the implementation of sustainability initiatives

Monitoring key developments in the ESG environment, e.g. regulatory challenges

Preparation of presentations and decision papers for top management

Profile

Successfully completed studies in economics and/or engineering

Several years of experience in the B2B sector, ideally in the manufacturing sector, in mechanical and plant engineering or in the steel industry

Ideally experience in one of the areas of logistics/R&D/production/energy management

Experience and understanding of strategic and technical sustainability aspects in the company (in particular carbon footprint calculations, life cycle assessments)

Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Analytical, strategic and networked thinking, especially in an interdisciplinary context

Strong communication and persuasion skills and ability to work in a team

Curiosity and willingness to learn
