- Develop and implement an effective Environmental Health and Safety strategy for Iron Mountain's data centers and construction projects in the EMEA region.
- Execute daily management of the Iron Mountain Data Center (IMDC) environmental health and safety program to align it with IMDC and corporate objectives, policies, and standards.
- Partner with contractors, vendors, and other functions within the assigned region to ensure the successful implementation of health and safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations, including local, state, and federal requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address EHS-related issues and concerns.
- Provide leadership and guidance to onsite EHS personnel and contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Numerous years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the Data Center or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards in the EMEA region.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS strategies and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred.
