- Completed studies in automation/electrical engineering or relevant training in an electronic profession with further training as an electrical technician
- Good knowledge in the field of automation: Siemens STEP 7, CodeSys control, industrial field bus systems, drive controls, and safety technology
- Experience in machinery and plant engineering
- Independent, structured, and target-oriented work approach
- Proficient in German and good English language skills
- Develop project-specific RBG control software (IEC 61131/ STEP 7/ SCL)
- Take responsibility for the commissioning and parameterization of drive systems as well as programming of motion controllers
- Configure and commission safety technology (e.g., emergency stop functions) and adapt the RGB user interface and HMIs
- Support factory commissioning at the Bietigheim-Bissingen site and potentially also commissioning at customer sites
- Contribute to the creation of software and customer documentation
