    Your role and your team:

    As we start production of our ground-breaking eVTOL jet, we are looking for a Senior Equipment Engineer with great equipment deployment expertise to join our team

    You will be joining a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and multicultural team and take the lead on the development, selection, procurement, and implementation of battery test equipment.

    Your role plays an important part in the test department and helps us to fulfil production test needs across all internal factories.

    Your Day to Day.

    Lead the battery equipment acquisition and development process with external partners, from first design concepts until commissioning and handover into operations.

    Develop fixtures, tools, and scripts to automate production testing at different levels.
    Coordinate with all stakeholders to determine test parameters, produce test documentation, troubleshoot, and perform quality assurance procedures.

    Assess and provide feedback to a design team towards design feasibility and optimization using tools such as DFT, DFM, and PFMEA workshops.

    Work closely with our system test department to help define adequate limits, procedures, and conditions for the test of the different sub-assemblies to fulfill the design intent.

    Use CAD tools such as CATIA or Siemens NX to support the implementation of the test solutions.


    About you:

    We are looking for someone with proven test experience - including end-of-line testing - and a track record within battery test equipment deployment from requirements gathering to supplier selection and acceptance.

    Skills in supplier identification and management are important along with an understanding of relevant specifications and compliance.

    Experience in equipment specification and deployment gained within the aerospace, automotive, battery, or similar manufacturing environment is required, along with strong cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.

    A bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably specializing in electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical or physical sciences.
    Fluent English is required, and good German language skills are a plus
