    Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Data Centers, you will play a key role in the design, optimization, and implementation of mechanical systems within our data center facilities. Leveraging your expertise in mechanical engineering and your understanding of data center infrastructure, you will contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that meet the stringent requirements of our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design and Engineering: Lead the design and engineering efforts for mechanical systems in data center projects, including HVAC systems, cooling towers, chillers, pumps, and piping networks.
    2. Technical Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC principles to develop innovative solutions that enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of data center cooling systems.
    3. Project Management: Take ownership of mechanical engineering aspects throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and detailed engineering to construction, commissioning, and handover.
    4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with overall data center infrastructure.
    5. Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient design strategies and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and reduce operational costs associated with mechanical systems.
    6. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and analyses to verify the integrity and functionality of mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    7. Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and performance enhancement.
    8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with equipment suppliers and contractors to specify, procure, and install mechanical components and systems, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgetary constraints.
    9. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with mechanical systems, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.
    10. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, calculations, and reports, to support project documentation requirements and facilitate knowledge transfer.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center projects.
    • Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
    • Strong understanding of HVAC principles and design practices, including psychrometrics, air distribution, and cooling load calculations.
    • Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and thermal modeling software is preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
