    We are excited to announce multiple openings to contribute to the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) project, focusing on system engineering and verification to prepare for upcoming satellite launches. We are seeking skilled and experienced System Engineers to join our MTG System Engineering and Verification team with different levels of seniority, in order to ensure the robustness and reliability of satellite operations, directly impacting weather and climate monitoring capabilities across Europe.

    Security:
    In line with security requirements, the candidate must hold a EUMETSAT member states citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

    Your tasks and responsibilities

    • Be part of the commissioning, operational validation, and ongoing system verification of the MTG satellite systems
    • Manage and coordinate off-line tools (OFTs) for on-board instrument configuration and system performance assessments
    • Participate in the procurement, installation, and utilization of system test tools
    • Prepare and execute system operational validation and commissioning phases.
    • Coordinate effectively across teams to resolve issues and maintain system baselines.
    • Organize and conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Test Review Boards (TRB).
    • Support Anomaly Review Boards (ARB) and participate in Verification Control Boards (VCB).
    • Ensure compliance with technical and security standards during all phases of satellite system verification

    Your profile

    • A Master ́s Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Science engineering or in a similar subject
    • Proven experience in satellite system engineering, ideally with exposure to meteorological satellites
    • Strong technical knowledge in software and algorithm development for satellite systems
    • Familiarity with test and review boards, including TRR and TRB
    • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
    • Experience with managing and coordinating technical teams and off-line tools would be an asset
