    Your Tasks

    • You apply your engineering knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, especially in power electronics and hardware planning, taking into account the regional grid connection conditions according to relevant standards, guidelines and engineering standards
    • You design the power supply according to internal specifications and North American guidelines, and in close cooperation with the product engineering department you meet these requirements confidently
    • You ensure that European and North American rules and regulations, such as explosion protection and functional safety, are complied with - you also keep a constant eye on the standards for hardware planning
    • You play an essential role in risk assessments, which make a key contribution to the safety and quality of our products
    • You plan electrotechnical protection concepts for our electrolysers, including the connection to the customer's low voltage power supply
    • You are responsible for the smooth planning and processing with suppliers and external service providers
    • You create, check and adapt technical documentation, such as specifications, layout plans and circuit diagrams. In doing so, you orient yourself to relevant standards
    • You develop innovative system solutions using existing products in order to always achieve optimal solutions

    Your Profile

    • You have a degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification with appropriate further training
    • Your many years of experience in electrical and hardware planning for process engineering (large-scale) plants characterize your background
    • You have extensive knowledge of the current European and North American standards and regulations in electrical engineering (EN, UL, CSA, NFPA etc.)
    • You have knowledge of the contract award and contract regulations for construction services, which would be an advantage
    • You have experience in the field of electrical protection concepts
    • You have a good command of technical documentation, especially single-line diagrams (SLD)
    • You are familiar with hardware planning using electrical CAD systems
    • You have excellent knowledge of MS-Office and are fluent in English in the specialist area
    • You are characterized by an extraordinarily high degree of independence and sense of responsibility
    • You score with your quick comprehension as well as your enthusiasm for analytical and creative activities - this rounds off your profile
