    Finance Employee

    Location: Cologne, Germany

    to develop a complete component manufacturing cycle, from concept and design through the development and validation phases to industrialisation and sequential delivery.

    Mission:

    As a finance employee, you are responsible for ensuring proper balance-sheet and financial accounting (including timely financial statements and reporting), accounts receivable and payable accounting, payroll accounting, asset accounting as well as for the preparation of the annual budget and adequate liquidity planning.

    Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of closing entries incl. determination of provisions, reporting, bank entries, vendor master data maintenance
  • Preparation of the creation of outgoing invoices and booking of incoming invoices and preparation of the booking of fixed assets
  • Preparation of statistical reports, cash budget
  • Tax returns, corona reporting, account reconciliations, Cuente Financiera, subsidy management
  • Implementation of COPA, cash bookings, wage and salary bookings
  • Office management, contract management (incl. IFRS), intercompany reconciliations
  • Monitoring and coordination of purchase/sales prices, accounts payable management incl. preparation of outgoing payments
  • What are we looking for:

  • Commercial training/degree or bachelor's/master's degree in controlling/finance or equivalent
  • Professional experience in a corresponding or equivalent position
  • Very good language skills in German and English
  • Familiar with: HGB, tax laws and sales tax law
  • Financial statement and balance sheet security
  • Ability to work under pressure, willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team and flexibility
  • Confident appearance, good contact and cooperation behaviour, persuasiveness, analytical and systematic way of working
  • Willingness to undergo further training, including on the job, computer literacy, ability to think abstractly
