    What you'll do

    • You develop and implement Knauf IT's privacy program, associated policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements
    • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams including audit, compliance and information security to ensure privacy compliance
    • You ensure third-party supplier contracts and OLAs meet relevant privacy standards through collaboration with procurement and legal departments
    • Establishment and maintenance of internal reporting mechanisms for personal data processing activities
    • You conduct privacy impact and compliance assessments to identify and address privacy risks while further developing and managing the related processes
    • Internal advisory function to the CIO and CISO on privacy policy topics, as well as to SOC relating to data breaches while ensuring that data security practices do not conflict privacy requirements

    Who you are

    • Ideally, you are combining a legal or business degree with a technical or computer science degree
    • You have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in multinational corporations, with 3 to 5 years focused on privacy
    • Gained familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools and knowledge on how they can be used to support privacy related GRC activities
    • You have strong analytical skills and sound business judgment, paired with the ability to give strategical and practical advice on how to balance business needs and legal risks
    • Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, and a proven track record of working with an international client base
