    Position Summary

    As we continue to drive forward our vision, we are seeking for our European headquarters based out of Munich a highly skilled Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (f/m/d). In this position, you will be play a crucial role in building a safe and sustainable work environment.

    Role and Responsibilities

  • EHS Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, policies, and procedures for our European HQ operations in Munich in alignment with global standards.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Implement and enhance workplace safety measures in accordance with German regulations. Act as the Occupational Safety Officer and the Chair of the Occupational Safety Committee.
  • Risk assessments: Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Investigate incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
  • Training and Education: Provide EHS training, lectures on occupational safety and various awareness programs to employees to prevent work-related illnesses. Organize campaigns for first aid course, workplace eye examination and influenza vaccination. Plan and execute fire drills and evacuation drills.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison with local authorities and regulatory bodies, representing the company during inspections and audits. Work with cross-functional teams to promote EHS standards and create a culture of safety. Communicate and report to our HQ in Korea on a regular basis.
  • Sustainable Practices: Promote plans to reduce carbon emissions and pollution with emphasis on our environmental responsibility.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on relevant EHS regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure continuous compliance and improvement.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an EHS specialist in a global company.
  • Familiarity with German EHS regulations and standards, including workplace safety and environmental protection.
  • Proficiency in English and German required, Korean is an asset.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety management.
  • Experience in managing EHS audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders as well as ability to train employees.
  • Profound cultural awareness and the ability to navigate in a multi-cultural environment.
