    Our department

    Our Marketing and Product Strategy department within the Mercedes-Benz Vans marketing division is responsible for all strategic product projects as well as strategic volume and price planning. For example, we deal with hot topics relating to new vehicle projects and electrification.

    Our team

    Our team is responsible for strategic volume and unit planning as well as product strategy. With us, you can make your contribution to diverse and exciting tasks with a significant impact on the entire organization. Due to the diversity and breadth of the area of responsibility, you will gain a comprehensive insight into many exciting, cutting-edge and highly relevant topics with future relevance. When working together, we attach great importance to communicating with each other directly and at eye level in regular meetings. It is also important to us that we deal with each other constructively and honestly.

    These are some of the challenges you will face:

  • Contributing to the creation of strategic planning, taking into account the various regional ambitions and product project volumes
  • Collaborating in the team on strategic and operational tasks and participating in working and decision-making committees
  • Developing decision papers that present complex issues in a targeted, visually appealing and comprehensible way
  • Collaborating on the requirements for a new system for strategic planning and reviewing the implemented solutions
  • Assisting with the development of use cases and the associated business cases as part of product strategy assignments from top management
  • Qualifikationen
  • Degree in industrial engineering, economics (specializing in marketing) or a comparable course of study related to the automotive industry
  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Great commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
  • Quick comprehension
  • High level of reliability and conscientiousness in your work
  • Interest in new IT system solutions
