    Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services ). We are looking for a Purchasing Manager(Jefe de Compras) to join our team for a construction project in Hamburg, Germany.

    -Project: regasification terminal.

    Estimated length: 4 years. For the first two years, we would hire you, and then the client would hire you.

    -Language and Level required: English and German- B2 (High-intermediate)/ C1 (Advanced).

    -Responsibilities:

    • Elaborate, prepare and/or carry out the most relevant or important purchasing processes for your product line, in accordance with the Group's general Purchasing rules and your superior's guidelines, in order to guarantee procurement in time, quality and cost.
    • Prepare and/or collect all the necessary information for the request for quotation (specifications) from the documentation sent in the purchase request by the user area.
    • Create and manage the purchasing processes through the Purchasing and Supply Platform. Propose the suppliers to be invited and the purchasing strategy.
    • Propose the target or the parameters of the auction according to the negotiation modality established, along with the Product Line Director.
    • Make the award proposal and prepare the order in ordinary purchases.
    • Elaborate the draft contract and manage it with the Legal Department, the manager and the supplier.
    • Coordinate, from time to time, teams of buyers in the management of purchases that require teamwork.
    • Collaborate in the follow-up reports of the purchase management indicators.

    -Requirements:

    • 8 years of experience in civil work projects, post-tensioned concrete, prestressed concrete climbing formwork, or similar.
    • Experience in executing building structures, urbanization works, foundations, installations and industrial plant works.
    • Experience in team management and technical-economic management.
    • Experience of 2 years in international works / large projects (not a must).

    -Working hours: Monday to Friday- 40 hours weekly.
