Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at ForWind Centre for Wind Energy Research in Oldenburg. The successful candidate will contribute to our research project on the impact of wind turbines on the microclimate.The postdoctoral researcher will use large-eddy simulation (LES) model PALM and meteorological measurement equipment to study the interaction between wind turbines and the microclimate. Key responsibilities include performing LES validation studies, preparing and executing measurement campaigns,
extending LES studies to cover typical weather conditions
, providing results from LES studies to support mesoscale simulations done by Fraunhofer IWES,
, presenting scientific results at international conferences through peer-reviewed publications,
- cooperating closely with researchers at ForWind
