- Supporting production with welding-related queries and problems
- Qualification and testing of welded joints at national level at various locations.
- Control and supervision of the preparation and marking of welds and their recording in accordance with legal and contractual requirements
- Advising the design team with regard to the production-oriented design of welded joints
- Inspection of welding equipment and preparation of corresponding reports.
- Transfer of welding processes at our sites, taking into account documentation and communication
- Accompanying and carrying out process tests and welding trials
- Training and qualification of welders
- Responsibility for compliance with relevant regulations and specifications
- Welding specialist, welding engineer or apprentice welder
- Several years of practical experience in the field of welding technology for pipeline construction and pressure vessels
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany.
- Practical experience in the planning and supervision of welding work in the field of special plant construction.
- Preferably knowledge and experience in welding processes for materials such as stainless steel and/or plastic.
- Good knowledge of English
- A reliable and careful way of working with a strong ability to work in a team
