Position Overview: I am seeking a talented Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the supply chain and logistics software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, a passion for creating high-quality software solutions, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework/ Hibernate, and other Java-related frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• GERMAN fluency will be HUGELY advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Agile.
• Previous experience working in a logistics or supply chain software development environment.
