What to Expect

• After thorough onboarding, you'll be assisting our global customers by offering innovative solutions through tailored reinsurance products. This involves managing the entire reinsurance placement process, from business sourcing to pricing and final decision-making.
• Business Sourcing and Assessment: You'll be responsible for sourcing, accepting, and evaluating requests for structured reinsurance concepts, creating customized solutions for insurance customers.
• Contract Management: You will manage and renew existing reinsurance contracts, ensuring that business data meets defined quality standards.
• Portfolio Analysis: You'll conduct actuarial analyses to oversee the profitability of reinsurance contracts.
• Business Relationship Management: Cultivating relationships with existing and new business partners (customers and brokers), meeting them in person through business travels or office visits.
• Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in underwriting departments, local offices, and other service departments.

Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics
• Interest in actuarial and economic matters
• High level of independence and flexibility
• Proficiency in English for business, conversational German, and knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Willingness to travel globally around 5-6 times a year
• Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to find solutions
