- Category Quality Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier quality agenda aligned with the global category roadmap to maintain sustainable quality.
- Supplier Qualification: Assess suppliers' quality management systems, collaborate on corrective actions, and monitor resolutions.
- Supplier Assessment (On-site Audits): Conduct necessary on-site supplier audits, align on corrective action plans, and verify resolution closure.
- Parts Qualification: Lead the production part approval process for new supplier parts, coordinating trial parts and inspections.
- Supplier Non-Conformity Resolution: Manage non-conformity resolutions, ensuring effective root-cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and consolidate supplier delivery and quality KPIs, identifying top concerns within the category.
- Supplier Performance Improvement: Drive improvement actions for targeted suppliers, aligning with customer and Hitachi Energy factories' expectations.
- Interface with Other Functions and Suppliers: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support Category strategy implementation.
- Quality Projects: Execute special quality and continuous improvement projects aligned with yearly goals.
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, material, or production engineering.
- 8+ years of relevant quality assurance, manufacturing, or supplier development experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration globally.
- Structured, proactive, and result-oriented work approach.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- Familiarity with electrical winding technology and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Quality and Continuous Improvement practices.
- Proficiency in process audits and related techniques.
- Willingness to travel and fluency in English.
