Systems Engineer Mission Control Systems (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Systems Engineer for Mission Control Systems who will drive the integration of OHB tools into the EGS-CC infrastructure and play a pivotal role in the development of groundbreaking ground segment systems for satellite missions. Become a part of our team and influence the Multi Mission Control Centre for today's and tomorrow's space exploration.

Your Tasks

Development of a Mission Control System based on ESA's EGS-CC / EGOS-CC

Integration of OHB mission control and flight dynamics tools into EGS-CC infrastructure

Integration of the developed MCS into the OHB DC Multi Mission Control Centre

Participating in the development of Ground Segment systems for current and future satellite missions

Planning and coordinating MCS related development activities

Support in defining the required tasks and technical objectives

Creation and maintenance of design/interface documentation

Enabling transition from spacecraft assembly, integration and testing (AIT) to mission operations to maximize synergy across all mission phases

Acting as interface to customers and product owners

Your Qualifications

Degree in aerospace engineering, computer science or comparable qualification

Experience in working with mission control systems in the context of satellite operations or AIT activities

Experience in the design, implementation or integration of mission control systems

Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly

Flexibility, an independent and effective way of working as well as a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team

Business fluent in German is prerequisite

Very good knowledge of English
