    The Customs Process Administrator (CPA) is responsible within a team to coordinate and organise the full range of customs services, starting with order acceptance, registering the order, collecting all relevant documents until the release of goods and customs clearance. These activities are related to the German customs process.

    A CPA will receive extensive internal and external training as well as daily support.

    The role and competence will develop and be more complex and rewarding over time to become more collaborative with our clients.

    Key responsibilities

    Process customs declarations in the company's software modules

    Analyze the received documentation on correctness and legitimacy

    Prepare import, export and transit customs documentation

    Support customs investigations

    You are customer focused and will share ideas and initiatives with your direct manager

    To be an active team member who will exchange knowledge and expertise.

    Participate in Customs related projects as required

    We are looking for

    Strong understanding of customs and import/export processes, regulations, and laws.

    Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and freight forwarders.

    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs software (such as ATLAS, CHIEF, or SAP) is an advantage.

    Fluency in German is required, as well as good English language skills.
