H&P Executive Search has been mandated by a long standing client with their search for a Senior Legal Counsel.

This is a great opportunity to join one of the strongest in-house legal teams with a company that priorities internal progression, both personally and professionally.

This position can be based from Düsseldorf or Bavaria.

Responsibilities

• Examination of legal questions from the relevant areas (commercial law, consumer protection law, regulatory issues)
• Legal advice on national and international projects
• Preparation and negotiation of contracts with national and international contractual partners
• Independent legal support of various company areas in day-to-day business
• Maintenance and revision of sample contracts, contract modules and standard documents
• Development of legal opinions with clear recommendations for action
• Close and trusting collaboration with our internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Fully qualified German lawyer (with both state exams) with 4+ years of PQE
• Experience working with commercial contracts in an in-house company / law firm
• Experience in the technical management of projects and other team members
• Analytical and structured way of working paired with a pragmatic and solution-oriented consulting approach
• Negotiation skills, confident appearance and very good communication skills
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
