    Join Our Team as a Project Manager at Fraunhofer Institute

    What You'll Be Doing

    • You will monitor project performance based on defined milestones, regularly coordinate with subproject managers, and actively participate in steering committees.
    • You will consistently report project metrics to the steering committee and overall project management of the Microelectronics Research Factory.
    • You will lead and motivate project teams at the institute, taking responsibility for stakeholder management.
    • You will represent the institute externally and expand your network.
    • Analyzing challenges, seeking solutions, conducting Lessons Learned, and implementing Best Practices will also be part of your responsibilities.

    What We're Looking For

    • You hold a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
    • You have extensive experience in coordinating and administering large projects, along with in-depth knowledge of project management methods and tools. Knowledge in the field of microelectronics/microsystems technology is a plus.
    • Your organizational skills and ability to motivate teams have been successfully demonstrated.
    • You demonstrate independent and proactive work habits, make thoughtful decisions with high problems-solving skills.
    • Your strong communication skills allow you to interact effectively at various management levels and in English.
    • You are open to occasional business trips to attend meetings with partners.

    The weekly working hours are 39, with the possibility of part-time employment. The position follows the Collective Agreement for the Public Service Sector (TVöD) concerning employment, compensation, and social benefits. Fraunhofer may also offer performance-based variable remuneration components. The position is initially set for a 2-year period with potential for long-term collaboration regarding the establishment and management of a Project Management Office at the institute.
