- Develop and improve product technology (e.g. Sensors) used in a variety of manufacturing and mechanical systems
- Design and manufacture equipment (prototyping, hardware design, firmware development)
- Design, develop and perform specific prototype tests and determinations to answer questions and solve problems of the company's internal customers (QH FLUID INTELLIGENCETM)
- Organize and handle of product certifications (e.g. CE) and documentation
- Identify, evaluate, and select hardware suppliers
- Support longer term research and development activities focused on sensor technology
- Assist sensor manufacturing to improve the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process
- 4+ years related engineering experience.
- Experience in electronical hardware development (Fusion 360, KiCAD)
- Prototyping
- Schematics, PCB design
- Development of test environments
- Development of quality control procedures
- Firmware development and updates (C/C++)
- Firmware testing
- Firmware documentation
- Experience in one or more of the following fields will be an added value: automation technology, control cabinet design, PLC programming, general product development processes, Organization of product certifications (CE, UL...), Experience in C#, Python.
