- Lead the characterisation of validated proteins received from the target validation group through biochemical analysis.
- Oversee the production or procurement of necessary materials such as antibodies, constructs, and inhibitors.
- Express and purify proteins for screening in cell-free systems or create plasmid constructs for cell-based screening as per project requirements.
- Establish and support screening processes, contributing to the generation of associated patent applications.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to advance our understanding of cancer biology and accelerate the development of novel therapies.
- PhD in cell biology or biochemistry, with a background in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, medicine, or molecular medicine.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cell biological characterisation of target molecules or in establishing screening procedures for target molecules in cell-free and cell-based systems.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with good oral communication skills in German.
