At Global Customer Service and Parts (GCSP/TPC), we accompany the entire life cycle of Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles, from the service-oriented design of our products to market launch and product support and maintenance. We support the service organizations worldwide, if necessary also on site. In doing so, we mainly work together with our partners from GCSP, development, production, purchasing, legal and quality. We create operating instructions, write diagnostic procedures and are the experts in parts technology, as well as in product evaluation and regulation.

Your internship with us in the GCSP/TPC department at the Böblingen site will give you a comprehensive insight into the service world of Mercedes-Benz and the interaction between research, development and production. You can expect varied tasks in the networked areas of radar, camera, parking and brake control systems, brake mechanics and much more. In our workshop with its extensive vehicle fleet, you will gain insights into the latest technologies and experience the fascination of Mercedes-Benz at first hand.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

Researching customer complaints and technical details on acute inquiries

Collaboration in the preparation of management-oriented reports on current, customer-relevant key topics

Helping to analyze problems and find solutions together with experts both centrally and on the vehicle, e.g. through test drives and diagnostic work

Collaboration in the development, implementation and proof of effectiveness of technical solutions in cooperation with development, production and our markets

Supporting the team in processing potential field measures

Qualifikationen

Degree in automotive engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study

Confident written and spoken German and English skills

Confident handling of MS Office, Power BI and MS Excel macro programming would be desirable

Commitment, ability to work in a team, analytical mindset and strategic way of working

Knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz product range is desirable

Part of the job will be in mobile working.
