Job Summary
The DLR Institute of Technical Thermodynamics employs over 270 people conducting research in energy storage and conversion technologies.In this master thesis, you will develop mathematical models for battery analysis using numerical simulations. You will explore next-gen lithium-sulfur cells with sulfurized polyacrylonitrile as a novel cathode material.
Your tasks include literature study on electroconvection, selection of model approaches, simulation studies under realistic cell conditions, investigation of curved surfaces on electroconvection,
and documentation of your work.
