- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Databricks and SSIS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and tune database queries and procedures for maximum performance and efficiency.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Work closely with data analysts to support their data needs and enable advanced analytics and reporting.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend best practices for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack.
- Proficiency in SQL programming and database management, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Technologies, including Azure Data Factory, MS SQL Database, Databricks
- Familiarity with data modelling and schema design concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
