Job summary
We're looking for a communications professional to join our DACH Communications team.The role will be based in Berlin and will report into our Head of DACH Communications.
Tell our Uber stories in creative ways that resonate with journalists
Work with reporters on a daily basis juggling proactive reactive communications efforts acting as company spokesperson
Good understanding of campaign-driven mindset by fully integrating traditional lifestyle social owned earned paid media Project manage events special activations working with agencies other teams Manage corporate issues writing reactive statements mobilizing cross-functional teams Build strong network relevant media contacts Work agency partners efficiently manage allocated budgets
- Strong command of the media policy cultural landscape in Germany
- Creativity drive tell compelling stories corporate local lifestyle media
- Ability thrive fast-paced environment manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize long-term goals Proven experience building relationships influencing cross-functionally Ability balance critical thinking tactical execution attention detail face frequent inbound enquiries requests Strong understanding news cycles new media excellent writing communications skills
