- relevant experience in implementing an ESG/Sustainability strategy and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions

Your creative field
We are looking for a full-time, permanent ESG Manager to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.
As our new ESG Manager, you will be part of a growing team committed to long-term optimization and change across the Contabo Group. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and leading meaningful practices and projects to embed sustainable practices and projects across the organization.
Your passion for sustainability and ESG will allow you to easily and comfortably promote commitment to sustainability and ESG among employees, suppliers and customers through targeted communication, collaboration and skills development measures.
As a Cloud Hosting provider, reducing our greenhouse gases is at the core of our strategy, your role will include crucial support for the annual greenhouse gas emissions calculation, which includes working with various stakeholder groups and critical analysis of the data and calculations themselves.
You will be the contact person for our submission to the SBTi (Science based target initiative) and take the decarbonization and GHG emission targets under your wing.
With your keen understanding of the CSRD (Corporate sustainability reporting directive) requirements, the work will include collaboration with a consultant to support the double materiality analysis, importantly including stakeholder management. Subsequently, you will also be a driving support in the implementation of ESG software for data tracking (especially but not limited to CSRD data points).
