What you'll do

• You are the Master of SAP EWM/WM and Yard Management systems, leading the development of solution architecture, including the creation and revision of comprehensive documentation for both new and existing solutions
• Conducting thorough requirement assessments and problem analyses, proposing solution alternatives based on standards and design patterns, followed by designing the optimal solution or interface
• Provide expert guidance and advice to colleagues in documenting solutions, specifying developments, implementing, and testing to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Evaluate and enhance solution designs focusing on usability, reliability, stability, and operations, while emphasizing the importance of the software lifecycle for continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, specialists, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and partnership across teams
• Stay informed on IT market trends to introduce innovative approaches, technologies, or tools, and conduct comparative analyses with solutions from other enterprises, promoting transformation and diversity within international teams at Knauf

Who you are

• You have exceptional process understanding in logistics, including warehouse management, WHS automation, yard management, and transportation processes, supported by a proven track record in leadership and teamwork
• Proficiency in project management through successful application in medium to large projects, utilizing various methodologies and tools
• Maintain cutting-edge IT technology knowledge, particularly in SAP EWM, SAP EWM MFS, SAP WM Modules, Yard Management, and IT/SAP integration technologies, underpinned by deep senior consulting expertise
• Showcase strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured and pragmatic approach to challenges
• Possess a comprehensive SAP development skill set, including foundational knowledge in SAP SD, MM, PP, TM S/4, alongside familiarity with both on-premise and cloud services
• Fluent in English (with German language skills being a plus), and open to occasional travel to Knauf locations worldwide, demonstrating a commitment to fostering global collaboration and transformation.
