Join the energetic team at wpd! wpd, a company active since 1996 in developing wind and solar parks across 31 countries, is looking for a Market Energy Analyst (m/f/d) in Bremen, Luxembourg (or other possible locations) to join their Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) team. If you enjoy working with numbers, models, and databases, alongside having an interest in political developments, this position is perfect for you!

Your future tasks with us:

• Create and maintain mid- to long-term scenarios for the electricity price development
• Monitor political and regulatory debates affecting the electricity market conditions
• Collect and organize relevant data for analysis
• Identify market drivers and prepare detailed data-driven analyses
• Keep colleagues updated through reports, workshops, and presentations
• Support specific PPA negotiations with market analyses
• Occasional travel within the EU as part of an international team

Your profile:

• Knowledge of energy markets and policies acquired through education or work experience
• Strong ability and motivation to work with data, including excellent Excel skills
• Experience with long-term energy forecasts and market modeling is advantageous
• Experience in energy trading and quantitative market modeling is a plus
• Excellent German and English language skills
