    Key Account Director - Renewables - Germany

    An exciting global organisation who are rapidly expanding their European renewables operation are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager/Director to join the team.

    As the Key Account Director/Manager you will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, playing a crucial role in driving business growth by maximizing customer satisfaction and ensuring the successful implementation of renewable energy solutions.

    You will have a very strategic mindset along with a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry within the DACH market.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
    • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
    • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in collaboration with the sales team.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the business

    Essential skills and experience

    • Extensive experience as a high value Account Manager within the renewable space
    • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including BESS, Solar, Wind, and other emerging technologies
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
    • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, along with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
    • Strong communication skills, fluent in German as well as strong English
    • Ability to understand technical aspects of renewable energy solutions and effectively communicate them to clients
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Ability to travel as required
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, MBA is a plus
