- Development of the product vision and overall responsibility for the success of the digital product together with the Head of Digital Products Road
- Conception of the technical product strategy in terms of technologies, architecture and scalability
- Building a deep business understanding including stakeholder relationships to identify the best possible business value and create innovative solutions
- Build and lead the tech teams consisting of over 20 motivated talents including responsibility for development processes, architecture and budget
- Continuous evaluation of technological developments and trends to improve products

To this end, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Tech Leader with a sleeve-up mentality and a desire to play a key role in shaping the Hellmann land transportation platform of the future.
The core task is to develop a robust technical road platform and to scale a powerful tech team as an essential part of the digital product team. This involves continuously evaluating technology trends, including developments in AI, in order to optimally support our land transportation processes. We offer an innovative and collaborative working environment with the values and roots of a traditional family business in an international logistics environment.
The position reports directly to the Board Member for Digitalization, Innovation and Sustainability.

Remote work is of course possible, but we believe that physical presence is an important factor in terms of team culture, creativity and innovation. Therefore, an occasional on-site presence at the Osnabrück or Hamburg locations is required.
